SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

BRIEF:

WIOT IS A COMPETITION RUN BY SCIEF TO FIND AND SUPPORT INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES FOR FINANCING FOR SOCIAL IMPACT. THE COMPETITION IS HELD IN COLLABORATION WITH KING ABDULAZIZ UNIVERSITY. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE CAMPAIGN WAS TO CREATE AWARNESS IN KSA MARKET  AND INCREASE PARTICIPATION.

EXECUTION:

IN ORDER TO CREATE HIGH AWARENESS CONTENT RELATED TO LOCAL CULTURE FOR DESIGN WAS PUBLISHED ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS. THE AD’S POSTED ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS MOTIVATED THE PARTICIPANTS TO RECORD THEIR VIDEOS AND UPLOAD IN ON THE WEBSITE, THE VIDEOS WERE REVIEWED AND REPOSTED ON THE FACEBOOK APPLICATION IN ORDER TO GET VOTES FROM THE TARGET AUDIENCE. THE TOP 6 VIDEOS WITH THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF VOTES WAS SHORTLISTED FOR FINAL COMPETITION WHICH WAS HELD IN SPAIN. THE WINNER WAS AWARDED 2000 EUROS.

ACHEIVEMENTS:

  • 47% INCREASE IN PARTICIPATION
  • 40% PARTICIPANTS WERE FROM SAUDI ARABIA
  • DAILY REACH OF MORE THEN 400,000 ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM
